About me

Creative individual not only with art, but with hair and engineering. As well as working on my fine art degree, over the past two years I have participated and pitched for work with external businesses to UCLan, from architecture (St Joseph’s project) to winning an engineering competition backed by the Royal Academy of Engineering (Elevation design).

My ability to creatively solve problems with an different view is something which is unique. I am currently over summer participating in the UCLan Enterprise award, in which I was selected after I applied, to help local Business with creative thinking. I am looking forward to the future and to go on to study more.

My work involves an exploration of materials, clay, and paint onto paper, that is intuitive and spontaneous. This method facilities comic pansexual sculptures and paintings that could represent genitalia. The sculptural objects are small and handmade and emerge from my working the clay in a way that is emotionally driven but also experimentally driven. I work in series and all of the work is interrelated. With my work I am trying to elicit a psychological response. I am particularly interested in the work of Louise Bourgeois I am fascinated by how her work is often interpreted through a psychoanalytical approach.
