About me

During my time at UCLan I have been given the opportunities that have really pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me develop the essential skills required as a designer. In 2017 I was the foundation nominee for the Lancashire Arts Festival where I showcased my installation at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery. My technical work in previous years was also displayed in the ‘Ones to Watch’ exhibition in the PR1 Gallery. I have also been selected to showcase my final collection at the 2021 Degree Show for the Degree Show Awards.

The narrative of my collection looks at being a survivor of the new world order created by a global catastrophe or pandemic, a blur of reality and a video gaming script. My characters would be roaming the apocalyptic urban cities and rural landscapes collecting resourceful materials to survive. They would happen upon a 18th century abandoned mansion surrounded by decrepit luxury and once lavish, but now a broken environment.
