About me

During my studies at UCLan. I have been able to establish the way a designer thinks. Not just going for the first thing you think about as a solution but going for something with more depth and connection to the brief. I have learnt a design process that works best for my to be able to produce the best quality of work I can. All ideas must start with a good depth of research. Good ideas must link to the original question. Learning what I have learnt at UCLan has given me a solid foundation that I can now use to begin my career as a graphic designer.

This project enabled me to explore a subject that I'd never usually discover. The overall brief was the choose something that you thought graphic design could improve. I decided to do something completely out of the ordinary for Gucci. Over the past 3 years I have learnt to go out of you comfort zone and push the boundaries. Over the last 6 months I have put all I have learnt into this project. The teaching of research, idea, concept, design and review, has played a key role in the development of my project.

The Brief for the project was to create an event that helped celebrate Gucci's 100th Anniversary, since its first store was opened in Florence, Italy

The Logo was inspired by Royal Ascot, as that is one of the most luxury of equestrian events. Including Gucci's logo in the design was important to still link to the brand
