About me

Through an ‘apprenticeship’ demonstrated by my parents and a degree in contemporary crafts I have been partaking in this ever-evolving practice from a very young age. upon completion of my undergraduate degree. I have been trying to master a varied skill set which allows me to use this craftsmanship towards whatever task is at hand. The MA has facilitated a necessary period of reflection, allowing me to comprehend the ‘what and ‘how’ my practice has come into being. Resulting in the apprehension of the organic practitioner. I now know that it doesn’t matter how I locomote in making things, as long as it is worthwhile. That it has a point!

My work is best understood as a piece of organic composition (free to bring itself into being as it unfolds), as a form of autonomous locomotion (without extrinsic command and control), which generates its own logical path as it proceeds (without knowing where it will end up) - currently resulting in the production of the following four acts: Aperture, Ancient Woodlander Practice, Doing & Making and Click & Collect.
