About me

I am a surface pattern designer that focuses on creating funky, abstract designs with a tactile twist. My aim is to produce feel-good prints by using naïve drawing methods and bold motifs that represent the themes within my work. I find inspiration in everything and enjoy expressing my love for colour and clashing patterns through traditional and digital print.

Throughout my studies, I have been selected to work alongside the global footwear supplier Size? whereby I was given the opportunity to create a personalised customisation package to promote the Size? exclusive Converse Multipatch launch. I have also been shortlisted for I-Dott wallpaper competition and have been selected to showcase my portfolio at Graduate Fashion Week 2021.

After graduation I would like to progress as a surface pattern designer and further expand my creative potential through industry experience.

A Trip To The Markets is a collection of fashion prints inspired by Asian street markets. These markets are a feast for the senses, with bold colour palettes and clashing patterns, each turn of the head reveals a new facet to these visually rich locations. Taking inspiration from Japanese streetwear I have created a collection that celebrates the beauty of maximalism through traditional and digital print. Eclectic Japanese art and graphic design has been a huge inspiration throughout my project, leading to a final design that embodies the vibrancy of these markets.
