About me

Throughout the course of my degree, I’ve learnt and developed significant skills to adapt and redefine the communication of my photographic practice. My studies have elevated my professional confidence to new heights, I feel a lot more confident distrbuiting my photographic outputs, this has challenged me to become more self critical and reflective as well as identifying the criticisms of others. A clear observation is I can recognise what should and shouldn’t be. To draw together all my traits, I’ve been able to produce a project within my degree that communicates my style of photographic practice (Landscape) as well as my preferred art form of abstraction. Overall this is one of my biggest accomplishments throughout my degree program.

This project was a series that I constructed throughout the course of my final year. The aim of the project is to show the synchronised connections we can find within the human body and the landscape. The project is a combination of looking at complex analytical theories whilst still maintaining a certain level of simplicity to the image set. In an ideal world the images should communicate the themes I'm presenting, whilst still being an impactful piece of work which may alter another persons perception on what they can see. The project name is 'Nature's skin' to resemble the theme.
