About me

Hi there, I am a class of 2021 graduate from the Fashion Promotion course with a keen interest in everything creative. I have a passion for creating artwork for multiple platforms with my extensive adobe knowledge, I am keen to work in this area in the future creating innovating and exciting content!

Below is a short showcase of my final major project ‘Stroam’.

Stroam is a new outdoor brand which targets millennials who are looking for trend driven streetwear aesthetic pieces that are practical and durable enough for outdoor wear at an affordable price. The concept will sit as a new brand for the Manchester based group Regatta, opening up avenues for engagement to a new customer base.

Stroam will have a strong focus on celebrating the local area within each collection.

The first range aims to celebrate the roots of the Regatta group by showcasing a design collaboration with Manchester based design duo DR.ME. Stroam will also launch an app in which customers can gain access to exclusive outdoor hiking routes, to encourage walking and outdoor exploration in their local area as a way to unwind and feel refreshed away from chaotic city life. In the future Stroam hopes to launch new touring collections targeting a new area each season, with new artist collaborations, new walks and areas to explore to make you feel excited about the outdoors.

Stroam will launch an app, The app will have a map feature in which you can document your own walks for others to follow and try out new routes from other app users.

The multi-season collection consists of 4 separate items a jacket, gilet, trousers and a cap designed with a limited edition DR.ME print, trend led but with zero compromise on functionality.

The website has an easy to use layout for an enjoyable customer experience. This is where the customer can read about the product, browse the collection, sign up to newsletters as well as make purchases.

As a new Brand Stroam will have to build up following on social channels. The Regatta group brands that have a similar target audience Dare2b and Craghoppers will post on their brand accounts advertising Stroam.

Examples of paid ad’s that will be posted on Instagram stories in between users following, targeting people who follow similar accounts for example outdoor brands, streetwear brands as well as lifestyle walking pages

A short teaser video has been produced to showcase the first collection. Clips will be leaked on social media through Instagram stories, with the full video being released on Instagram IGTV on the launch day.

Stroam will host an exclusive launch event at a hidden location, to join the event users must download the app.Users will be emailed a secret code to access a map leading them to the event.

The pop up store will be placed in Ancoats by the canal and will be open for 7 days around the launch date of Stroam. There will be advertisments placed around Manchester prior to opening.

To celebrate the launch a Mural will be placed in the Manchester Northern Quarter created by DR.ME. The art piece will be a large scale copy of the Stroam print, hiding a painted Stroam logo.

Stroam will have a range of outdoor advertising around Manchester as well as other cities, targeting commuters people living central.
