About me

Originally from India and currently based in the UK. Honing my skills in digital (photoshop) as well as mixed-media illustrations as a children’s illustrator and designer. Armed with a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration from University of Central Lancashire through a scholarship. I have 10 years of solid experience working in advertising, and I have the perfect blend of multi-cultural background. With more than 20 published books worldwide, I have also been featured and credited for my artwork at the prestigious Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum in India, various blogs, websites, nationally (in India), circulated newspapers (The Hindustan Times) and magazines (The Week) etc.. I have travelled far and wide (over 30 countries) and would love to continue to do so as a passion and to add to my skills from the experiences I gather.

This picture book is created to help children bridge the gap created in social skills due to onslaught of digital media and reconnect with the real world and spark face to face conversations. The book infuses abstract elements with curiosity to initiate open ended questions with children. The protagonist of the book goes on a journey to find something and the book aims to elicit a response where the children reading it would also try to find their own journeys.
