About me
I am a surface pattern designer who focuses on creating meaningful and commercial designs for interiors and fashion garments. I find my inspiration from my travels and researching upcoming trends.
Throughout my studies, I have been given opportunities to participate in live briefs with companies such as Cosatto and Matalan. whereby I was lucky enough to be offered a work placement by Cosatto and shortlisted for the Children’s Wear award at Graduate Fashion Week this year 2023.
After Graduation, I would like to develop my design skills and further expand my experience by working in the industry.
Trips to many different countries have inspired me throughout my studies, however none have stuck with and inspired me in the same way as South Africa. This unique country is home to the most exquisite animals and amazing landscapes, and I would like to showcase the beauty and diversity of South Africa through surface pattern design.
