About me

Final year BA Hons fashion design student.

Over the duration of my course I have learnt many skills including sewing, basic pattern cutting, CAD, trend researching, analysing target markets, self branding and enterprise.

I’ve developed new skills this year including making bias binding and experimental pattern cutting and shape making.

My final project “Culture Clash” was inspired by a combination between my Chinese heritage and being born and growing up in Wales as I wanted to make this project personal to me. The main inspiration behind my project was finding a link between the two cultures – the dragon. I incorporated experimental shape making into the final garments as I used this technique for a previous project that worked successfully to me.
