About me

I worked in furniture, both design and make, and upcycling prior to starting my Architecture degree at UCLAN. My degree has provided me with a range of both analytical and technical skills. Developing a variety of skills including Photoshop, Procreate, Indesign, Sketchup, Revit and AutoCAD. I have also developed my work through model making, creating visual and tactile pieces which both aid and explain my design.

I have a passion for sustainability which lead the design of my final thesis project. this earned me a nomination for the end of degree awards.

Lydiate Chapel Community Centre
A retro fit project taking an old disused and derelict chapel built in 1486. repairing and making safe the existing structure, proposing a change of use to provide a community centre for the area. The community centre is for the elderly with a design that is lead by the blind and visually sight impaired to create a fully inclusive and accessible design. The site will house a park, lake, reflection space and café in the main building. A proposed extension will house the community centre for the elderly providing meetings and craft activities for the area.
