About me

I am a technical designer with a passion for coming up with game mechanics and making pre existing mechanics better. I’m a designer who does not only want to make games, but wants to make games better. At the start of all my projects I have not known if the mechanics I wanted to make could be made or if I was capable of making them as a designer. So I’m proud to say that all of my aims at the start of the academic year we’re achieved and I couldn’t be happier with my projects. My work this year has more excited me than ever for what the future holds. Stay tuned.

For my final year I have tried to be innovative with all my projects. I've tried to think about what could be added to games to makes games better. In my projects this year I have explored shaders and dynamic materials to see how much customization we can get out of one shader with my Tunic Creator. In the directional combat system I have made strides towards a clash mechanic that would bring us one step closer to realistic melee combat in game. Then in renown? We have unscripted an AI conversation system that reacts to the player's actions.
