About me

My academic record and work experience are indicative of my passion and for love for all things visual and design related. I studied BA (Hons) Fashion Design at De Montfort University and went on to form a successful career in visual merchandising.

I have worked for international retailers such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters and most recently as Visual Merchandising Creative Elements Specialist for Tommy Hilfiger at their Global Headquarters in Amsterdam. I designed, developed and project managed all creative VM elements for the global store concept working from initial idea and inspiration through to final product.

Partnering with the store concept design team is what first sparked my interest in interior design and as time went on I realised that I would love to design not only certain elements but the whole interior space.

Through my MA Interior Design, I have focused on the connection between design and emotion. This led me to design HUIS, a multi-functional hotel suite that incorporates and promotes well-being for its occupants through the use of design, colour, and the consideration of all five senses. Single story suites comprise of four monochromatic spaces: work, play, sleep, and bathe, connected by glass walkways.
