The project focused on typography and type design by designing a typeface for Mosul which is a war-torn city that just survived a war with ISIS. As part of rebuilding the city, the branding process is essential to perceiving the identity again and letting the new people engage with the city and be part of its identity by giving them something to be part of. So a typeface has been designed for this city inspired by its heritage and its people culture. The typeface experimented in posters, and some design works to examine how it works with different visual contents.

The logo is built of multiple pieces that refer to the damaged buildings and areas in Mosul. These pieces are coming back together to make
