About me

I am an enthusiastic and hard working person, during my architectural journey at the university I have developed great time management and organization skills. I have a great attention to detail and I enjoy using many different graphical and visual techniques to show my ideas and I am not ashamed of sharing them with others. I have also a personal interest within the interior design field. During my study, I have successfully been a part of the interior design team for the past five years. During any spare time I may of had I have taken various online courses to enhance my capabilities in the use of programs such as: Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD and Revit. I am very adaptable and I can work well under the pressure, both individually and as a part of the team. I look forward to work in practise as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant.

Neighbourhood Unit - this is a prototype model for the new communal living, is located within the edges of Fejienoord in Rotterdam. It's aim is to focus on revitalisation of neighbourhoods. Spaces are designed based on the mixed land use, to allow different income and age groups to interact within day to day neighbourly events. The colonnade system is purposely used, as a design device, to help with the reinterpretation of connections and distribution of programme. Porosity throughout the structure and the pockets of natural fauna help to bring in the perfect integrity with the landscape and to promote wellbeing.
