Master of Fine Art

About me

I am a multi-disciplinary artist from Warrington, Cheshire with a B.A (Hons) Fine Art having graduated in 2022 at UCLan.

I have exhibited my work at
The Harris museum and gallery, Preston, and at The Birley art studios and Gallery space, Preston.

I have worked as part of a group with Manchester based Artist Sarah Marsh, whose research project supported by UCLan Creative Innovation Zone at Tate Liverpool, collaborated over several weeks to produce a Zine as an outstretched hand of inclusivity for LGBTQ+ and allies to feel welcome.

In 2022 with Short Supply Manchester for Made it 2022! I made the top 25 from 500 plus Northwest graduate artists with a final exhibition at Rogue artist studios, Manchester and awarded prestigious membership as a Castlefield gallery associate.

Like the double helix- my art practice is an intertwining of art making and critical research.
Through the exploration of materiality and creativity, inter-woven research centred around language and communication, has unfolded through the making of artwork. The transformative process has evolved into a study encompassing perception, interpretation, semiotics, cognition, and object appreciation.
