About me

Hello,
Im Reace (Left4decay), I am a documentary photographer based in Lytham St Annes. The work I make is a visual documentation of the derelict abandoned spaces decaying throughout the UK, the biggest accomplishment from this style of work is having my worked featured in the popular article page “Buzzfeed”.

Throughout my studies at UCLan I achieved a better understanding on how I can use natural light sources within abandoned spaces to an advantage, an example of this would be using the light to highlight either an object or subject.

Left4decay is a project that visually documents the decaying history thats left throughout these abandoned spaces, the project shows a variety of different abandoned buildings some which have been decaying for years and some that have become recently abandoned. The purpose of this work is to show just how beautiful abandoned buildings are and how much of a sad waste it is to see such structures or objects be left for time and vandals to ruin.
