About me

I have been the Course Rep for two years which was a pivotal role in understanding what my other peers needed from the course and how I could help achieve this. My progress over the years in my degree and my determination to increase my architectural knowledge has developed enabling me to produce the best work in my final year. I have developed skills throughout the course on Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and I have started to learn Inventor and Sketchup to widen my knowledge. I have recently been nominated for the AJ Sustainability Award 2021 which I am excited and extremely proud of my achievements.

With previous work experience at Ian Simpsons Architects, I would now love to gain more experience within other architectural companies that specialise in sustainability through retrofitting as my last project focused in this area and I feel I excelled in this field.

My building offers a space to learn, make, live and possibly get a job to help people gain new glass making skills and self their work in the buildings shop. The proposal tries to offer a multi-functional community space. The building will produce a crafter artefact that is of Blackpool that could be sold to visitors; therefore, the building must provide a space where the artefact will be made, a place to design a place to live, a place to learn and a place to sell.
