About me

I am a technically-minded, original thinking and creative designer of intelligent video games. I am proficient in Unreal Engine 4 & 5, making blueprints and blockouts. Other skills include Unity, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Maya.

Whilst at UCLan, I have achieved UCLan Games Design Student of the Year Award (2022), UCLan Games Design Industry Engagement Award (2023) and UCLan Gold Volunteering Award (2023). I also hold Games Design (L3 B-tec): D*D*D* and Maths (A-Level): B.

My interests include:

Videogames from Grand Strategy, RPG’s and digital adaptations of my favourite board games, e.g. HOI4, Skyrim, Space Hulk and CK3;

Board games including Social Deduction and Strategy Games, e.g. Avalon, GOT the board game and War of the Ring;

LEGO, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars & the Arthurian Legend;

Creating and modifying custom expansions for my favourite board games, designing and making new cards, maps and meeples.

All my projects were made in UE5;

Mansion: First-person puzzle game, the player explores the mansion, using various objects to reveal secrets and in turn the mystery of the mansion.

Brothers: Additional level for Brothers: Tale of Two Sons. I wanted to subvert previously established mechanics and focus on cooperation between the characters.

Bulwark Assault: FPS where player can only turn in 90-degree intervals, the more they move, the more their damage output increases.

Hamster: First-Person Maze-Chase game, which only uses one-input. All of the buttons work on hovering the cursor over the HUD.
