About me

Studying illustration has been a splendid experience! I’ve managed to experiment through my projects and develop a way of working that feels the most me I have ever felt. I love seeing art that sparks and exudes joy, and I have been working towards trying to create work that does exactly that! I find through bright colours and decorative elements such as pattern and fun shapes alike I can bring about a sprinkle of that cheerfulness into my work.

My favourite project throughout this course has been my last – in which I fully illustrated a children’s book. I thoroughly enjoyed applying my style of work into each spread! Through this project I discovered my passion for composing and crafting children’s books. I wish to study children’s book illustration MA at UCLan in the future and go onto creating lovely picture books.

Front and back cover and a couple spreads of a children’s book titled “Clementine’s Birthday” - written and illustrated by me. A couple greeting card designs illustrating the idea of exploring nature in different ways through the card for a Hallmark brief. Varoom front cover for an article about diversity.
