About me

Vincent David Crow is a Trans, Gay illustrator who paid £30 to be called Vincent David Crow because it’s a cool name.

He specializes in character design and narrative illustration, with a particular interest in the games industry and storyboarding as well as animation.

He did a lot of traditional illustration in the beginning but has gradually branched into digital art and printmaking over the course of his studies. There’s something about repeatedly stabbing a piece of rubber that he finds therapeutic.

He’s gotten himself some pocket money in the past drawing Dungeons and Dragons characters on commission too.

He’s also a writer, and he hopes to go on to finally pursue some of those graphic novel ideas he’s been filling notebooks with for literally years- maybe once he’s got a degree he’ll get off of his ass and get on that.

Also, he uses He/Him pronouns.

My final project revolved primarily around character design, intending to showcase characters and how they might fit into a context. I gave full designs to pre-existing characters from the youtube series DreamSMP, and showcased how their designs work in an 18 page comic of a well-known scene, and then went on further to create ten original characters to exist within the Homestuck universe's canon.
