About
I am a foundation architecture student with an interest in modern and minimal design. My work focuses on the relationship between architecture, landscape, and user experience. During this year, I developed my skills in SketchUp, model making, technical drawings, and spatial design. My projects explore simple forms, natural materials, and the connection between buildings and their environment. I am particularly interested in how architecture can respond to sloped sites and create clear and functional spaces. Through my design projects, I learned how to develop ideas from early sketches into final architectural proposals. I also improved my understanding of exhibition design, presentation methods, and visual communication. I enjoy creating clean and organised designs that combine simplicity, structure, and interaction with nature.
Project overview
Avenham Park Stilt House
This project is a modern stilt house located in Avenham Park, Preston. The design responds to the sloped landscape by raising the building on stilts, reducing the impact on the ground and creating open space below the structure. The project focuses on simplicity, openness, and the relationship between architecture and nature. Large windows and open terraces provide views of the surrounding park and allow natural light into the interior spaces. The design uses clean geometric forms and a minimal material palette inspired by contemporary architecture. The raised structure also improves privacy and creates a stronger connection with the landscape. Throughout the project, site analysis, movement, sunlight, and topography played an important role in shaping the final design. The project combines functionality, modern aesthetics, and environmental response in a simple architectural form.

The exhibition design is inspired by the stilt house structure. Raised display platforms are used to reflect the elevated architectural form and guide visitors through the space.
