About

Hello, I'm Alicia and I am a 22-year-old final year student for the Promotion and Marketing BA Hons course at UCLan.

As an individual, I like to spread as much positivity as I can and find the silver linings in challenges. I am extremely dedicated to my work, being creative in anyway has always been a 'must' for me, ever since being young.

I found creativity through outside school activities like dance that led me to choosing BTEC Performing Arts as one of my college subject choices, alongside A-Level Photography and Media Studies. I find that having many creative outputs works best for me, whether it be the creativity of a dance routine, or the endless collage affects with my latest project work.

Different creative outputs allow for variety in my creativity. Currently, I have plans to take my Masters here at UCLan on the MA Fashion Promotion and Lifestyle course to further enhance my skills and creative knowledge, and prepare myself as much as possible for industry. Social Media Marketing and Events Planning, especially in my final year, has become a strong industry interest of mine to hopefully gain a job role in.

I have always been passionate about social media through my own styling Instagram that I previously formatted as a space to share my photography work throughout college, and during my first year on the BA Hons Photography course that I was on before conducting a course transfer. My time at UCLan and on the Fashion Promotion and Marketing course has led to me understand the world of marketing and promotion, leadership and directing, independent and group work and above all, professionalism.

Final Campaign

The Final Campaign had the clear objective of giving us the opportunity to do what we liked with what we had learned throughout our three years on the course. To focus in on the things we are passionate about, to give us the chance to put our identity into every output of the work submitted for the brief, the limits were endless and no two students submitted the exact same work because it was unqiue to us.

My Final Campaign was called 'Together With TALA: 3-Day Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness Festival' and it focused on two main properties, the brand 'TALA' and the fitness, nutrtion and wellness sector. Together With TALA was made based of the concept and findings that consumers are wanting to preserve their lives and health, as well as connect with brands on a deeper level.

The decision for this opportunity to be a festival came from the success of a pop-up shop the online brand conducted five years ago and had positive success from, the five year anniversary made for the perfect time to show brand growth from pop-up shop to a festival, but to also allow the brand to have the opportunity to connect with it's loyal consumers on a larger, non-digital screen way.
