About
I am an architecture student whose creative spirit has long been nurtured by a love for drawing, crocheting, and sculpting—forms of expression I embraced from a young age. I have always found comfort and self-expression through creativity. Raised in a scientifically driven household, I developed an early appreciation for structure, logic, and precision—qualities that now underpin my architectural thinking. My design process is heavily informed by conceptual research and storytelling, with each project rooted in strong narrative intent. I am particularly drawn to the emotional and experiential dimensions of architecture—spaces that evoke feeling, foster connection, and hold cultural or personal meaning. My work demonstrates a deep engagement with these ideas, often exploring themes that straddle both the poetic and the practical. I remain committed to evolving my craft, learning how to bridge the gap between intention and output. My journey as an Architect is far from over—if anything, it’s just beginning. With time, patience, and persistence, I’m determined to close that gap, one project at a time.
Project overview
Modern Stilt House
This modern stilt house is a deeply personal architectural project, inspired by my mother’s unique sense of style, her love for greenery, and the character of our old family home. Elevated on stilts, the design reflects both functional and aesthetic intent—providing protection from the elements while creating a light, airy presence that sits comfortably in its natural surroundings. The primary aesthetic of the house follows a sleek black-and-white colour scheme, reflecting my mother's long-standing appreciation for clean contrasts and modern design. The different houses I grew up in help with the conceptual stages and many of the design decisions, ensuring to incorporate my mother’s addiction to house plants. Stylistically, the design incorporates subtle elements from our old house—familiar wallpaper style, spatial transitions, and traditional textures reinterpreted in a modern context. These nostalgic nods ground the project emotionally while allowing for a fresh, contemporary experience. Interestingly, my personal space within the house diverges notably from the dominant theme. My room introduces a palette of soft pastels, offering a gentle, whimsical contrast to the otherwise bold and monochrome interiors. This intentional juxtaposition not only marks my identity within the space but also honours the house’s broader narrative — making the house not just a structure, but a story of family, memory, and coexistence. I am not very gifted in the model making aspects as I believe that it doesn't truly capture the essence of my idea.
