About
I am a fine art photographer interested in the human body and understanding how I fit into the world. My current work explores the idea of the uncanny and the way AI has allowed it to flow into everyday life. I use my work to understand the information I find in daily living.
Project overview
The edgy of reality
Photoshop, Face-tune and AI-produced images have become intertwined into everyday life. Understanding what is real and what is fake has become more complicated. The lines between reality and fiction are more hazed as visual media platforms are more heavily relied on. The relationship between media content and uncanny theory is more apparent than ever.
This work is a personal journey exploring the uncanny theory and its relationship with the present media. This work was also to understand the importance of media presence and the process individuals take to remain ‘relevant’.
