My name is Archie Grime, I studied animation at UCLan and spent my third year working on the film, ‘Monster Doctor’ where I focused on my skills in character animation, puppet fabrication and set design. During my time at UCLan I took part in an internship at Animation Toolkit where I learnt a great deal about armature fabrication as well as gaining access to a high quality stop motion puppet with which I could practice and hone my skills as an animator. The last three years have left me determined to continue to gain skills in the production of stop motion films and work with people with whom I share a vision and from whom I can learn even more

Monster Doctor
Monster GP is a slice of life short film about what it's like to work at a medieval doctors office run by, and for the decrepit and depraved creatures of this earth. Owned by the enigmatic Doctor Grimspark, the dank dungeon he calls his office welcomes all unfortunate creatures, but some may get more than they bargain for. The Doctor has been known to experiment and modify some of his patients with mechanical enhancements and will often take liberties in how far he takes things. We follow Clive, the janitor of the office as he introduces his coworkers and gives us a glimpse into what life is like working at the office.
