About
From illustration to graphic design, art direction, textiles and surface pattern my interests across art and design have all continuously influenced my work. Throughout my time studying Illustration I constantly felt the need to have a style to succeed. However, in my final year I realised my strongest tool was the way I think and approach briefs. A constant strength throughout my work is how I contextualise my illustrations and designs for successful outcomes. I enjoy working on briefs with history, culture or a story to tell as these often involve thorough research, a part of my practice I value greatly. My plan is to carry on at the University of Lancashire studying on the Graphics MA degree part time, while also working part time within the creative industries.

Table Manners - Podcast Rebrand with Merchandise Collection
My project takes on a rebrand for the podcast ‘Table Manners’ accompanied by an imaginary collaboration with M&S. The project combines a rebrand, a range of tableware products and accessories, wallpaper, advertising and marketing for the podcast and products all combined with a touch of humour. This project combines illustration, graphic design, surface pattern and product design leading to a complete final exhibition. The designs feature abstract surface patterns and representation black line-work paired with a complimentary colour pallet. The collection of products I have produced contain a variety of glasses, crockery, cutlery, tableware accessories including coasters, placemats and a tablecloth. These are displayed in the exhibition as if an episode of the podcast is being filmed and all the products are being used.
