My name is Dwaine Pitt, and I have a bachelor's degree in animation. A lot of my interests lie with games and 3D Modelling, I live life struggling with the issues surrounding my asperges syndrome commonly known as autism, I mainly struggle with the social side of life but never let it get in the way of what I want to do with any projects I get up to in my down time.
I have studied many things to do with art and design, such as graphic communication, and digital games production with merit in both 3D Modelling and Environments as well as photography. These were all subjects I felt would better my education as an individual trying to create new things and bring them to life.
Through my three years as an animation student out of all the disciplines I enjoyed character design the most as it showed how simple shapes can create a recognizable character just by the outline of the character itself, after learning this I applied this to all character designs going forward.
Project overview
Art of 3D Modelling
The Whole idea of this Major project is to primarily focus on designing characters of different types and keeping them apart in terms of style and shape, these types of characters are a two legged character, a four legged character, and character with wings and a robot, making sure that all these four characters can be 3D modelled inside of blender I would keep them simple but still unique.
After being modelled they would then be rigged ready for movement and textured differently to one another inside of substance painter. They would then be animated independently to one another in different sequences all lasting twenty seconds and edited together using premier pro with sound effects added afterwards to create a video that just about exceeds one minute. Then I would animate them all together in one sequence so they can be seen interacting with each other coming onto the screen on the same scene which would also be 20 seconds long and once again edited with sound effects afterwards using premier pro.
This project is to test my skills in 3d modelling all the characters, rigging them, weight mapping them and then animate and editing the animations together within the deadlines.
