About
I am an expressive mixed media illustrator fascinated by handmade processes, imperfection and intricate details. Working across drawing, painting, ink and digital methods I create bold, emotionally driven imagery influenced by alternative culture, interesting characters and nature. My work varies, from exploring themes of confusion, identity and discomfort through distorted characters, exaggerated expressions and layered mark making, to wholesome paintings set within magical worlds. Following my degree, I am developing my practice as a freelance illustrator with my brand Created To Be Confused, while expanding my portfolio, developing my knowledge and refining my visual language.

Creativity Calms Chaos
For my self-initiated project I created an exploratory artist book centred around themes of emotion, identity and self-expression. Using a combination of mixed media processes, including drawing, painting, ink and digital techniques, I developed an expressive body of work centred around experimentation imagery and textured mark making. Alongside the project, I continued refining my visual language and developed my creative practice in preparation for freelance illustration.
