About

My time studying architecture has taught me how to design with sensitivity to context and community, creating spaces that feel connected to their surroundings. I enjoy designing for unique sites, where the character of the place and the needs of the users shape my design. The challenges these sites present push me to think more sustainably, and to create spaces that support the people who will use them. I enjoy the process of developing a concept from its earliest sketches through to a fully refined proposal. I particularly enjoy working with AutoCAD and Revit to refine my designs and bring them to life through detailed 2D drawings and 3D models. My university experience has shaped my technical abilities and my values as a designer: to work with context, to design for people, and to create architecture that contributes positively to the places it inhabits. I’m excited to continue developing these principles as I move forward in my architectural journey.

Project overview

AO3101 : Design 3: Autonomy

My work exhibited here showcases my Year 3 design work, all of which is based in Fleetwood, Lancashire. Through each proposal, I explore how architecture can reconnect people with their heritage and invite new visitors to experience the town through its revival.
