About
As an illustrator I enjoy creating artwork that is colourful, meaningful and something that all ages can enjoy. As someone who expresses themselves not only through their art but fashion and makeup, I like to incorporate my unique persona into my art using an array of different mediums and colours. I have a wide range of illustrative styles, but my main speciality and passion is children’s book illustration, submitting two years in a row to the Macmillan awards with intentions of submitting more in the future. As my dreams lie primarily in children’s book illustration my aim as an illustrator is to eventually be a part of the publishing industry with one day publishing my own original book.
Project overview
Frugi x Ellustrates spring collaboration.
My degree show is a spring collection created in collaboration with the organic online shop 'Frugi'. For my final project I really wanted to show a variation of my work and what I'm all about as an illustrator. By creating my simple yet unique patterns I have been able to produce a range of items for my spring collection including clothes, baby bottles and changing matt covers . As an illustrator I love to produce pieces filled with colour and personality that's not only eye catching to younger audiences but to all. As my dreams lie in children's book illustration I still wanted to make my last project meaningful to me and therefore have made a collection suitable for babies aged 0-12 months.
