I have always been a creative person and have loved all forms of art from a young age. My interest in interiors started early and has continued to grow throughout my education. I studied Fine Art at college before completing a Foundation Degree in Art and Design, which helped me explore different creative disciplines and eventually led me to interior design, where I found the area I feel most passionate about. I am particularly inspired by minimal and biophilic interiors, alongside historic architecture and the preservation of heritage within interior spaces. I enjoy creating environments that feel calm, natural, and meaningful while respecting the character and history of a building. For me, interior design is the perfect balance between creativity and functionality, allowing me to combine my artistic background with thoughtful and purposeful spatial design.

A Well-being retreat at Lytham Hall
This project reimagines the Jacobean West Wing of Lytham Hall as a contemporary well-being retreat, exploring the relationship between nature, heritage, and mental health. Underutilised spaces are transformed into a yoga and movement studio, a wellness café, and a seasonal retail space, each designed to encourage relaxation, social interaction, and everyday well-being. Informed by research into biophilic design, loneliness, and inclusive environments, the proposal aims to support community connection particularly for older users while remaining accessible and engaging for all age groups. The design carefully integrates the building’s historic character with natural materials, soft spatial interventions, and sensory elements, creating a calm and restorative environment that respects heritage while unlocking the site’s potential for contemporary use.
