About
Hi I’m Grace and I am a Textile Designer graduating in the class of 2026, specializing in surface pattern. Throughout my degree, I’ve been immersed in both the creative and commercial sides of design, exploring market trends and fashion movements to ensure my work resonates in today’s industry. My journey has been enriched by a series of placements I've completed placement opportunities at Cosatto, Sketch Twenty3, Standfast & Barracks, completed private commissions and have an upcoming placement at Vogue Sourcing.
Beyond these hands-on experiences, I’m deeply committed to expanding my textile practice and constantly building my portfolio, drawing inspiration from global art, and traveling to broaden my understanding of cultures and artistic traditions. As I step into the future, I’m excited to see where my passion for design, market insight, and global creativity will take me.
Project overview
The Bloom & Block Collection
The Bloom & Block Collection is a vibrant celebration of traditional Indian block printing, reimagined for a bold, digital world. Each piece is a symphony of colour, intricacy, and eccentricity with handcrafted blooms bursting against rich, dynamic backgrounds. Despite its boldness, the collection is anchored in harmony, with each element fitting seamlessly into a cohesive design. Whether adorning a children's bedroom or an adult sanctuary, these pieces are deeply versatile, adapting to countless lifestyles.
From the sculpted headboard to the sumptuous bedding set, every fabric, trim, and texture exudes a luxury refinement. Carefully finished with high-quality materials and trims, the collection draws you in, offering a tactile richness that complements the intricate prints. This is a collection that dares to be different, exuberant, flexible, and timeless all with a luxe, curated edge.
