About

I am a 3D character, creature, and environment artist proficient in Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, and Adobe Substance Painter. I have a strong attention to detail and can consistently meet deadlines while effectively delivering a project brief. I enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, always eager to learn new skills and techniques from fellow modelers. My passion for 3D art grew from a deep curiosity about the technical processes behind CG animated films. I hold a BA in Animation, earned in 2021, and have now completed the first year of my Animation MA with a professional placement year commencing in September. I used this MA to develop my portfolio and improve my 3D modelling, retopology, UV mapping, texturing and lighting skills needed to become a 3D Artist within the film and or gaming industries. As this is the area of Animation that I wish to specialise in and pursue as a career.

Project overview

Evolution From Pollution

My project investigates how the use of 3D Art can be used to enlighten audiences about the effects an unsustainable environment can have on the natural world, whilst exploring the necessary skills and techniques needed to be ready to work as a 3D Artist in the Animation industry. The objective of my project was to visually portray the effect that sea pollution could have on the aquatic natural world. By designing and modelling a variety of stylized CG marine creatures and plant-life, that convincingly look like they have evolved to adapt to survive in a non-polluted world on land.
