Project overview

Challenging Perspectives

The design envisions an educational facility that is inclusive, accessible, and centered around art and immersive experiences, designed to cater to all students, especially those with sensory integration challenges. The facility’s circular design symbolizes transparency, harmony, and equality, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. Why a circle? This shape eliminates hierarchy, encourages fluid movement, and promotes social interaction by providing an open, inviting space free of physical barriers. The environment catered is meticulously crafted to be sensory-friendly, with diverse acoustics that prioritize comfort and safety, creating a secure and engaging learning atmosphere. Integration of art activities as it's roots, seamlessly is cohesive with interactive spaces, encouraging children to explore, create, and communicate through their surroundings. The use of adaptable materials enhances the fun and sensory aspects, sparking curiosity and enabling spontaneous, creative encounters. By focusing on social interaction and play, the facility shifts away from traditional educational norms, emphasizing human connection and creativity, and acting as a catalyst for meaningful social exchanges and collaborative learning experiences that strengthen the social fabric of the community.
