About
Sustainable and organic designs are the goals for my design work. I enjoy relating my projects with nature and the surrounding environment, as I believe successful architecture does not conflict with nature. My passion for architecture enables me to continuously learn about different architects in the field as well as learn to use the industry software required. Specifically when considering aspects related to ventilation, structure and circulation I believe these three subjects are the key highlights when it comes to sustainability along with the method of construction. Positivity is my strong attribute, whilst I tend to reflect on every decision I make in order to search for potential improvements in my work along with social interactions as I prioritize providing comfort and acknowledgement. Critiques with full honesty is what I tend look for as it is one of the best ways to improve as well as having curiosity about different perspectives.
Project overview
Stilt House
The client for the project that I have selected includes those who work in corporate environments and enjoy gardening. My house design focuses on functionality and sustainability. An open design with many windows and a minimum number of closed spaces. The stilt house features a roof top garden, an office for the client's extra work times at home and a conversation pit for relaxation. The slanted roof top allows rainwater to slide off the building without the use of pipes.
