About
I am an aspiring Interior Designer currently studying at the University of Central Lancashire, with a strong interest in minimal, sustainable design. I’m particularly drawn to the process of design development, where ideas evolve into thoughtful, well-crafted spaces. My work often explores the balance between simplicity and function, supported by a growing skill set in 3D visualisation to bring concepts to life with clarity and depth. I aim to create interiors that are both purposeful and emotionally resonant.
Project overview
Heaven Below
Hidden beneath the surface of Crystal Palace lies a forgotten relic of Victorian infrastructure, a place once bustling with movement, now reclaimed as a sacred ground for stillness, self-reflection, and healing. The Heaven Below reimagines this atmospheric subway as a contemporary meditation centre rooted in Wabi-Sabi and biophilic principles, offering a retreat from the sensory overload of the modern world. Drawing on the poetic contrast between the weight of history and the lightness of inner peace, the centre brings forward a design narrative that honours the raw, imperfect beauty of the existing structure while layering it with gentle, intentional interventions.
Under a green glass ceiling, the courtyard café offers a peaceful retreat of light, natural tones, and quiet connection.
The reception blends past and present with open-back arched shelves and Wabi-Sabi objects, offering a calm, grounding welcome.
A sacred journey from stress to serenity, where each treatment pod under the vaulted arches marks a phase of healing and the play of light guides personal transformation.
A quiet pod above still water, embracing Wabi-Sabi. A space for solitude, healing, and calm.
Floating on water, this serene pavilion offers a secluded space for quiet reading and reflection, with natural materials, soft seating, and mindful books inviting inner calm.
