Project overview
THE ECHO HOUSE
The concept focuses on creating a vibrant intergenerational hub that unites the elderly and younger generations in a space that encourages connection, learning, and mutual respect. An environment where the elderly can share their traditional skills such as crafts, storytelling, and cultural practices through engaging workshops, allowing valuable heritage to be preserved and passed on. At the same time, the younger generation will support older adults in learning modern skills, particularly digital and technological ones, helping them feel more included and confident in today’s fast-paced world. This two-way exchange not only reduces isolation and loneliness among the elderly but also helps young people develop empathy and a deeper understanding of the older generation
