My work explores architecture as a social and material practice, with a particular interest in how spaces can support local communities and everyday interaction. Influenced by material-led and contextually responsive design, I am interested in creating architecture that feels tactile, purposeful, and centred around human experience. Throughout this year, my projects have covered themes of local identity, public engagement, making, and memory through a range of spatial and material approaches. Working within Fleetwood allowed me to investigate how architecture can respond to existing social and cultural conditions while encouraging new forms of participation and collective experience. Through drawing, model making, and material experimentation, my design process has deepened my understanding of atmosphere, detail, and spatial experience. I am particularly interested in architecture that encourages interaction, celebrates making, and creates a strong sense of identity through space and material expression.

Made In Fleetwood : The Stall
The Stall is a screen-printing studio located in Fleetwood, designed to support local commerce and community engagement through printmaking and public interaction. The proposal produces weekly zines featuring deals and advertisements for the local market, encouraging residents to reconnect with independent businesses and contribute to the local economy. The project combines spaces of production, gathering, and display to create a building that is both socially and materially driven. Through tactile materiality and visible making processes, the scheme aims to reconnect the market with the Fleetwood community.
