About
I am a graphic designer with a background in visual communication design. Through continuous exploration of visual languages, I have developed a strong interest in brand identity, visual systems, and emotional expression. My practice often begins with observations of everyday life and personal experiences. I explore the connections between people, environments, and brands by combining research, storytelling, and visual experimentation, transforming subtle emotions and experiences into meaningful visual expressions. For me, design is not only about creating visual forms, but also a way of understanding the world and communicating emotions. I aim to create thoughtful, engaging, and meaningful visual experiences through design.
Project overview
TWO SUNS
Two Suns draws on the author’s lived experience of navigating life between China and the UK, exploring how time differences, cultural transitions, and everyday encounters shape emotional experiences. Through collecting personal reflections and shared experiences from international students, the project translates complex and changing emotions into accessible visual forms. By transforming invisible feelings into a visual system, Two Suns creates a space for international students to recognise, express, and share their emotional journeys. The project reflects the process of adaptation, transformation, and personal growth, highlighting the connections between memory, place, identity, and belonging.
